If you’ve been wine tasting at Ponte, you do. Our (almost) famous pita chips act as the perfect palette cleanser, not to mention crunch-satisfier and munchie-curer.
Typically, we recommend anyone tasting wine to start with whites, move to reds and end with sweet wines. But, lots of people start with, say, Juliet or Super T and then decide to try the Fume Blanc. This is just fine, especially if you nibble a pita chip in between. Why? The thick, artisan cut chips are neutral in flavor (yet so good!) and clear away the flavor remnants of the vino you’ve just sipped. And this is why, ladies and gentleman, you have always seen…and probably always will see those cute baskets of pita chips on our tasting counters.
