What’s Up With The Ponte Bunny?

If you have visited us for wine tasting, dined in our restaurants or stayed at our Inn you may have noticed a bunny logo that adorns various items throughout the property such as our wine bottles, wine glasses and server aprons, to name a few. You may have wondered what the significance of the bunny is and why we have this as our signature medallion. There are a couple of reasons for this:

  1. Rabbits are commonly seen in Temecula Valley and were therefore chosen to represent the local environment and ecosystem in which Ponte Family Estate resides in.
  2. It symbolizes the family’s connection to the land as farmers, vintners and Temecula Valley residents.

We are the only certified sustainable winery currently in Temecula Valley and we pride ourselves in our continual improvement for a sustainable future! The rabbit is a unique symbol to represent this cause for Ponte Winery and the Temecula Valley.

Next time you visit us, look and see where you can find the bunny.  It’s not unusual to see a live rabbit (or many!) hopping around the property.
