There are so many creative ways to welcome your guests into your reception while adding a fun touch to the seating process. Here are a few ideas, outside of traditional place cards, you could use for your big day!
Mason Jars: We’ve come to the conclusion that mason jars will never be leaving the design scene. Most trends only last for a short time, but these jars seem to be taking over all crafts, events and especially weddings. By using mason jars for your escort cards, they can double as glassware, a container for your candy bar or just a fun take home for your guests.
Food: We hope we are not the only ones, but we’re always in the mood for a little bit of sugar. What better way to welcome your guests in than giving them a yummy snack – like these gorgeous cake pops – upon entering into your reception?
Mints: Let’s face it…wedding food is known for being very tasty and that means lots of sauces and spices. Due to this wonderful reality, you could have a few individuals who may just need a little minty assistance. Mints as escort cards are the perfect way to make sure everyone is dance floor-ready after your delicious dinner.
Flowers: What an amazing way to allow your guests to be a part of your wedding! Keep the tables fairly simple, but give your guests the chance to decorate by placing their escort vases among the table.
Drinks: Your guests are going to be a tad bit parched after a 30 minute ceremony. Take care of your friends and family by placing their escort cards around the neck of a bottle of water, lemonade or maybe even some champagne!
