As we enter into the next season, many brides are planning their weddings for the next year. Most brides are deciding between fall and spring, but winter is a hidden gem in the wineries. Although there may be a few factors you have to work around, winter weddings have such a beautiful potential if you know how to work with the season. I’ve found a few ideas and tips to make your winter wedding magical!
When you are planning a wedding in the winter, you should always make sure to incorporate some sort of covering for your bridesmaids and yourself. I love this idea above. The light colored fur, with the soft color palate of dresses compliments each other perfectly. You can add light pops of color in your bouquets which creates such a whimsical appeal.
Here is a beautiful and simple way to create an elegant winter wonderland for your tables. All you need to execute this gorgeous table are silver votives, baby’s breath, white vases of different sizes and a few white flowers to add to the baby’s breath designs. The best part about this table is that it is actually very affordable and easy to create. When working with white you can accomplish a classic sophistication with very little money to be spent.
Once again, this table setting has been designed with such simplistic elegance. Keep the same color scheme by adding silver chargers beneath a white dinner plate. Make sure the dinner plate has some sort of design that does not distract from the simplicity of the table but adds a different shape to the charger. I just love the place card on the napkin! The best tip to creating this type of setting is to keep the décor in the details, the design of the silverware, shape of the plate and the gorgeous place card.
I personally love this rustic elegance. Most brides utilize this style for fall, but winter has so many opportunities to incorporate this type of design. You can still use burlap, wood accents and lots of flowers, but your color scheme will be a bit different. Stick with lots of white and dashes of color such as royal blue, forest green and silver.
Winter weddings are not complete without the perfect winter wedding gown! Feel free to add on the layers, for both added warmth and to complete your winter wonderland wedding.
