The first 12 days of December, Ponte will be featuring special bundled collections of wine and Marketplace goods that have been carefully selected to create truly delicious and unique gifts for those who are high on your “nice” list. But that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be a wonderful gift for you as well.

Charcuterie Set

…my true love gave to me, a beautiful charcuterie set. Our Charcuterie Set will become a staple in any casual or formal entertainer’s home. Charcuterie (shar-coot-ery) is a fancy way of saying “prepared meat products” such as sausages, terrines and patés, but this set will display and serve your favorite cheeses, crackers and fruits just as beautifully as your finest slices of Prosciutto di Parma. Included are one Wooden Puzzle Piece Cutting Board, one Marble Handled Cheese Knife Set and one bottle of 2010 Ponte Graciela white wine.

The Wooden Puzzle Piece Cutting Board is a serving piece that you can display as a group or separate into 6 smaller serving “pieces” or boards. Made of acacia wood, it is both fun and functional. The Marble Handled Cheese Knife Set is the perfect counterpart to the cutting board. Each of the five knives has gorgeous, gray marble handles. There are specific knives to serve all kinds of cheese, from the softest brie to the hardest Pecorino. They are great for spreading patés as well. Finally, the set is complete with a bottle of 2010 Ponte Graciela wine. A classic white wine at Ponte Winery, Graciela is as complex and distinguished as the woman it is named after: owner Claudio Ponte’s mother, Graciela. It is highly aromatic and fruit-forward with wonderful flavors of peach and pink grapefruit. It is lovely with spinach and goat cheese salad, spicy stir-fry, even brunch.

The Charcuterie Set is attractive, practical and just plain fun. We are sure each element will become staples any time you entertain.
