Strike a Pose: Wedding Photo Booths

Over the last five years, photo booths have become very popular at weddings. Couples are finding ways to capture moments that their guests can take home and remember forever.  You can always hire a photo booth company or you can make your very own booth like one of the ideas below. The options are endless, but here are a few to start your photo booth creation.

This photo booth option does require a bit of handy man work, but if you have access to some basic tools, it is really quite easy to create. Make a trip to your nearest Lowes and start the fun adventure, choosing different sizes of wood panels and paint colors. Find frames at Homegoods or Marshalls. Make sure they are the correct size for your guests. Feel free to add your wedding date on other frames, or photos of the couple, family or friends.

Polaroid cameras are coming back and are always a great option for candid photos.  Guests can take random shots throughout the wedding or you can choose specific “photo booth” areas of your venue for these photos.   Guests will love the automatic printing and the unique filter the Polaroid creates.

Creative photo booths really do not require that many props. A simple backdrop and a few silly costume pieces, like mustaches, can create a unique look that will produce fun photos for your guests.

This look has become very popular within the past year. Cut strips of fabric and tie them to a rope in order to produce a backdrop for your photos. This unique texture of the fabrics looks great in pictures and can be used at any venue!

Don’t forget about the original photo booth. Companies are getting really creative with their booths from the overall look to the way the photos are printed. The benefit of this option is that most photo booth companies have a way for your guests to send the photos to their email. This allows your guests to obtain multiple copies!
