Start the New Year with Some Sparkle

Why do we drink sparkling wine on New Year’s Eve?  I could go into the entire history of how champagne came about and why we drink it on the most festive of occasions, but, really, who cares!?  The thing I love most about New Year’s Eve is that it calls for requires sparkling wine.  Nothing else will do and that’s fine with me.  Those little bubbles seemingly lift all the wonderful flavors and aromas of the wine straight to your head and make you feel so lovely.  It shines, it sparkles…like diamonds and sequins.  It’s served in pretty glasses and, let’s face it, it makes us feel just a little more glamorous.  Now that’s how to start a new year.  To get you in the spirit, be sure to pick up one of our sparkling wines for tomorrow’s festivities:

Moscato – an absolute crowd pleaser with flavors of apricot, nectarine and lemons, with a white floral aroma.  Pick up an extra bottle for New Year’s Day mimosas!

Rose Spumante – a special sparkling rose wine with essences of ripe strawberry, crisp apple and orange zest.  Playful and spritzy.

Vernaccia Nera – our most unique bubbly wine!  This red – yes red – sparkling wine is soulful and romantic with flavors of black cherries, plums and cinnamon.  A must-try.

Get all three Ponte sparkling wines at a special price here.
