Say “Thanks” For a Job Well Done

Attention all bosses, supervisors and superiors: Administrative Professionals Day is exactly one week from today.

Don’t panic: this is not an occasion where you should buy your entire staff a gift. Traditionally, this day is for secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, or basically, anyone who answers your calls, sorts your mail, manages your schedule, shops for your Christmas presents…you get the picture. They’re the ones you can’t live without.

So, what is the best thing you could do for them? Give them the day off! But if this just won’t work for you, consider something to make them smile and relax: wine. At Ponte, you can shop for everything from a single bottle of wine to a gourmet gift basket to a membership in our Wine Club. Not sure what kind of wine they like? Go for Rose Spumante, a sparkling rose wine with flavor notes of strawberry and pineapple. It’s fun, it’s festive and it’s delicious. Our gift baskets are collections of wine, gourmet food items and chocolates that have been carefully selected and combined by our wine experts, or you can give us a call to build your own. With a Wine Club membership, your assistant will enjoy one to three bottles of wine 8 times a year as well as a slew of other member perks.

You’ve had your reminder. You now have plenty of time to order that perfect present and have it on his or her desk before they come in to work on April 25th. Yes, we know your assistant usually takes care of ordering gifts, but it’s one day a year! And they deserve it.

–What do you do for your assistant on Administrative Professionals Day, or what is the best gift you’ve received on this occasion?
