For as much TLC that we put into our sustainable wine practices from grape to glass, we also pour as much care into the community for those who need it the most. Many of you know we pride ourselves on our dedication to sustainability, so Earth Month is a pretty big deal at Ponte. However, April is also Child Abuse Awareness Month, representing another cause that is near and dear to our hearts: doing everything in our power to help local children who are suffering, which we declared as our charitable mission many years ago.
Since then, we have committed our charitable giving to local organizations aligned with that goal in mind. One of these organizations is Oak Grove Center, which is a nonprofit residential and educational center in the Temecula area that provides 24-hour treatment to children with severe psychological, mental and behavioral challenges. This charity has transformed the lives of countless children through healing, education and empowerment, and we are committed to supporting their efforts. From residential treatment, autism and arts programs, and a K-12 non-public school, Oak Grove serves children from all over Riverside County, although predominantly Temecula Valley, Corona area and North San Diego. We value Oak Grove’s important work for local children who are suffering, and we’re proud to be sponsors for their charitable endeavors.
This April, we’re making a pledge: 10% of all online sales will go to Oak Grove during Child Abuse Awareness Month.
So go ahead, order extra wine for your loved ones or for your cellar this month at Ponte Winery’s Online Store. Every order, big or small, will help a local child who is suffering.
