Apparently there is a holiday for everything nowadays… National Rocky Road Day, National Take Your Dog to Work Day, and even National Panic Day! Amidst all the random holidays, there is one I happen to agree with: National Splurge Day!
People have begun to catch on to this fake holiday, and who could blame them? Hmmm…the options are practically endless. Who doesn’t want to splurge on purchasing that extra bottle of their favorite Ponte wine? Delicious Lamb Chops for lunch? Or perhaps that extra Macaroon in The Restaurant for dessert? I know I sure do! And now you have a day to enjoy it guilt-free! This is the day to treat yourself to whatever your heart may desire and do so without a worry in the world… until tomorrow of course. Now…the bad news: National Splurge Day was yesterday, June 18th. But who says you have to wait until next year to partake? Whatever your splurge may be…we hope you enjoy it here at Ponte Winery with us on any day of the year.
