The heart of a mother is one of the most important things. It needs to stay healthy in order to love, teach, comfort and strengthen. As many mothers have full time careers, some find it hard to balance everything in life: family, marriage and health included. It’s not uncommon to look at these incredible women and think, “How do they do it all?”

One such mother, who is a doctor, and wife to boot, has found what it takes to sustain her healthy heart with the devotion of a husband, the love of her children and red wine from Ponte Winery. A well-known Family Practice Physician in Murrieta, Bridgette Waters (professionally known as Dr. Bridgette Briggs) believes in the benefits that red wine has on the heart. The resveratrol and antioxidants in red wine have been medically proven to prevent heart disease, protect against artery damage and even promote healthy aging. We can all drink to that!

Bridgette and her husband Tyler, who works as a pharmaceutical rep, have been married for many years and always make time for date nights. “It doesn’t have to be anything big.” Tyler says. “We just enjoy our time together.” Wine Club Members since 2008, this loving couple was in search of a special spot to come and spend quality one-on-one time together every week, while not being too far away from their big family. Ponte became their date night destination where they happily sip their favored Ponte Pinot Grigio and heart-healthy Ponte Zinfandel. With five children ranging in age from 6 months to 11-years-old, this hardworking couple has found success in both their careers and families by giving all of their hearts. “We are an extremely close family.” Bridgette tells us. “We take at least one family vacation a year, and enjoy everything from snowboarding and camping, to snorkeling in Cancun.” Bridgette and Tyler also take three to four smaller trips every year to places like Napa, San Francisco and San Diego to keep the sparks alive and theirs hearts connected.
