No, not the Swiss kind, but the wine kind!
If you’re like me, you were terribly disappointed when Ponte’s last vintage of Chardonnay sold out. I was a long-time “I don’t drink Chardonnay” person. They all seemed to be too oakey for my taste. Then I tasted the previous vintage and was blown away at how much I enjoyed it. It was crisp and fruity with just a bit of that buttery oak flavor that is so very Chardonnay-ish. Well, Ponte’s winemaking team hit it out of the ballpark again with the 2012 vintage which we will be celebrating this weekend.
On Sunday, September 22nd from 11:00 to 4:30 pm, Wine Club Members are invited to the Reserve Room to be the very first to taste our 2012 Chardonnay. Will you detect the delicious autumn flavors this wine boasts, like pear and vanilla? We hope so! And even if not, we think you’ll agree that it is unlike other Chard’s out there. We will also have our famous and incredibly delicious Scallion Oil for you to sample. This stuff is, well, it’s awesome. ‘Nuff said.
Members will also enjoy a 30% discount on our new Chardonnay, on this special day only.
