Grill Something Great

It’s Memorial Day weekend!

First and foremost, we here at Ponte want to extend a huge “thank you!” to the members of our military and their families.  And we want to recognize all of the brave men and women who have lost their lives fighting for our freedom.  We know America wouldn’t be what it is without their sacrifices and we are grateful.

Lots of you have the day off and will be dusting off and firing up your grills on the unofficial first day of grilling season.  What’s it gonna be?  Burgers and dogs? Chicken?  Perhaps steaks?  They sound great, but how about trying something different?  We’ve scoured our blog and gathered some of our favorite outdoor recipes for you to try.

Grilled Bacon-Wrapped Jalapenos with Cheddar – Pair with chilled Moscato

Grilled Apricots with Goat Cheese – Pair with Isabel

Ribs with Spicy Root Beer BBQ Sauce – Pair with Beverino

Rib Eyes with Zinfandel Port Steak Sauce – Pair with Super T

Mahi Mahi with Avocado and Melon Salsa – Pair with Chardonnay

Garlic Potato Salad – Pair with Pinot Grigio

Grilled Corn with Wine Butter – Pair with Graciela

Grilled Pineapple – Pair with Moscato

Ponte’s Classic Sangria (start this on Sunday)

Raise your glass to our fallen heroes and have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day!
