Double the Fun with Beverino

Every Christmas season at Ponte Winery we anticipate the new vintage of the Magnum Zinfandel that gets released just in time for the December Wine Club shipment. A Magnum is a large bottle of wine, equivalent to two 750 ml sized bottles. It’s a huge hit with our Ponte guests and Wine Club Members as it is great for entertaining. Currently, we only offer the Holiday Reserve Zinfandel in the Magnum bottle. But that’s about to change! This month, we are going to be releasing our #1 best-selling wine here at Ponte Winery in the 1.5 liter Magnum bottle…the 2012 Beverino! It is a delicious, medium-bodied red wine that tastes like boysenberry and black raspberry pie with a hint of milk chocolate. Just sweet enough, it is great when served chilled (which is the way most Ponte fans like it), or for a sweeter version it can be served at room temperature. Beverino pairs well with hard cheeses such as parmesan and gruyere or gilled fare like a top sirloin burger and barbeque chicken. Beverino also pairs well with desserts such as fruit-topped cheesecake.

To celebrate its release, we will be hosting a Magnum Beverino Release Party in the Reserve Room on Sunday, July 14^th!  From 11:00 am to 4:30 pm, Ponte Wine Club Members will be able to sample this exceptional vintage and purchase bottles at a special 30% discount.  Check out our website here for more information.

The 2012 Beverino will be released first in the Magnum bottle and later this year in the 750ml bottles.  Stop by our Tasting Room starting July 14^th to pick up your bottle to share with friends and family.  You can also order it in our Online Store beginning July 12^th.
