Christmas in July, well… September

We had a freak rainstorm on July 31st, with heavy showers, cozy cloudy skies-perfect for sleeping in and drinking hot chocolate. It was like Christmas in July! So, since that stormy day in July, I’ve pulled out all of our Christmas catalogs and thought I’d get a head start on picking products for the Ponte Christmas Marketplace.

While sipping cocoa at my desk, I immersed myself in the pages of every woodland and traditional holiday spread: Reindeers, pinecones, gingerbread cookbooks and holiday wrapped soaps. The call of a traditional holiday season has been answered! This year expect to see our Tasting Room transformed into a winter wonderland, with rustic red poinsettias, feathered owl ornaments and evergreen pine trees. You’ll be able to find Gingerbread Almond Caramels, Classic Peppermint Bark and Holiday Apple Cider to take home and put in your loved ones’ stockings.

Alas, the sun has broken through, and it is back to a Labor Day weekend filled with sangria and barbeques! But my winter dream is soon to come true. Check back in October for a winter preview online!
