Imagine this….a beautiful summer day, sounds of children playing in the pool, BBQ fired up and your favorite glass of bubbly in hand. This is what my husband and I call “Happy Hour” in our backyard every chance we get. By no means am I a wine expert, however, I consider myself the biggest lover of sparkling wine and that favorite glass of bubbly in my hand is always the Ponte Moscato.
My favorite dish to enjoy with the Moscato is grilled Tilapia (or Mahi Mahi) with some delicious seasoning. To go with the fish, we like to combine asparagus, onions and olive oil and place in aluminum foil. These pouches also go on the grill until the vegetables are steamed. Next, we make skewers of squash and zucchini and grill those as well. This whole meal takes no time at all: in 20 – 30 minutes, we’re indulging in a fabulous, healthy meal with a lovely glass of refreshing sparkling wine.
It’s 4th of July! Why not break out the BBQ’s and raise a glass of Moscato to the Red, White and Blue? Cheers!
