In our 12 years, we’ve seen a whole lot of weddings. Small, big, low-key and black-tie, weddings at Ponte have always come in all shapes and sizes. And the themes! It’s true, every wedding is different, but what some couples dream up to make their special days really different is exciting and unpredictable. Some of the standouts include –
“Key to my Heart” theme in which the décor was almost dripping with lush red roses and unforgettable elegant touches
Traditional Indian was an absolutely stunning display of bright, jewel-toned colors, saturating everything!
“Vintage Romance” came complete with cascading chandeliers and peacock feathers
“French Farm-to-Table” was tres chic with a towering, traditional Croquembouche
“Rustic Chic”, “Roaring 20’s”, the list goes on.
But, ourfavorite? “Wine Country”, of course!
We love to see couples embrace the spirit of Temecula Wine Country and Ponte Winery byplanning their theme around their venue. The theme inevitably takes on a natural, organic mood with lots of olive and grape leaves, wine barrel and cork décor and plenty of wine, naturally.
We’ve collected some wonderful, unique ideas on how past Ponte brides have captured the true spirit of a Wine Country wedding:
Well first off, gorgeous wedding photos in a stunning location: among the vines! Credit
Repurposing wine pallets to serve as reception décor. What’s not to “LOVE”?! Credit
Save your Ponte wine corks and reuse them as seating card holders. Credit
Take inspiration from the vineyard! Use wine varietals (I.e., Malbec, Sangiovese, Pinot Grigio… The list goes on!) in lieu of standard table numbers. Credit
A no brainer…Say “I Do” surrounded by beautiful vineyard views. Credit
Advice in a bottle! Ask your guests to give their most thoughtful advice for you and your loved one to open on milestone anniversaries. Credit
….And last, but certainly not least… Celebrating with your closest family and friends in an authentic, working Barrel Room surrounded by aging Ponte wine! Credit
