Brightening Your Day in the Ponte Winery Tasting Room is Elyse Barton, our new Tasting Room cashier. Elyse lights up the room with her smiling eyes and delights Wine Club Members and guests with her genuine kindness. Even though she is studying Theatre at Mt. San Jacinto College and dreams of being a Theatrical Publicist in New York City or Southern California, there is no act about it…she is as sincere as they come. For the past two years, Elyse was the associate producer for two benefit concerts in Orange County, one of which benefitted the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Both events featured Tony-nominated Broadway actors, and required Elyse to travel to New York City every few months to work with actors and managers involved in the events.
When she is not in school, on stage or at Ponte Winery, Elyse is a public relations intern at the Laguna Playhouse where she writes press releases, works on opening nights of plays and markets the shows. “I absolutely love live theatre!” Elyse beams with her sparkling smile. You’re guaranteed to want an encore, so be sure and meet Elyse.
