Corks: From Bottle to…Shoe?

We received a lot of great reactions to our recent article, “Re-Purpose Your Wine Bottles and Corks.” On seeing it, one of our Green Team Members was reminded of SOLE, a company we work with through ReCork.

Via ReCork, we send all our used cork to be recycled and made into innovative products by companies like SOLE. They use it to produce high quality, unique sandals and other footwear. It’s important to note that SOLE is dedicated to the sustainable cause not only in the materials it uses for its products, but also in its packaging, printed material usage, and other facets of the business.

If you want unique, high performance footwear (ones that might even contain a Ponte Beverino cork!) we recommend you check out this “sustainably minded company.”
Remember, every time you make a purchase you have a chance to cast a vote toward a sustainable future!
